My last day of Fashion Week was super special because I had the extraordinary opportunity to go backstage at Anna Sui, which we all know is one of the coolest brands out there. The whole time backstage, I was totally dumbstruck by all the talent that was back there from the models (Omg Karlie Hanne, Lindsey, Shu Pei, Jessica Stam, Karen Elson...) and of course Pat McGrath, who created an amazingly achievable look by using Covergirl's tempt Hot Lip Perfection Lip color on top of Anna Sui's lipstick #461 along with rosy cheeks that blended up towards the eyes for a fantastic glow. I loved watching all the makeup crew blending away with Tarte's Lip & cheek stain to achieve the look. Since I have a Tarte Palate at home, I decided to try out a toned down version for fall, something that isn't as rosy on a majority of the face and just adds a little color and gloss.
Okay, so this is a seriously toned down version of what we saw at Anna, but I love the flush your face gets when you apply it from your cheeks to your eyes. For me, at least, my skin is super fair and any color I can get on my face makes a lot of difference, so I think I will be trying a stronger version of this with my fall ensembles.
Hope y'all enjoyed!
Oh! And for those wonderin', my nails are a combo of CND color polish in Electric Orange and Milani's Jewel FX in silver.

WARNING: You are about to witness some extreme paleness. Viewer discretion is advised.
So here's my palate from Tarte. We've got 4 different Tarte stains and my YSL Rouge Volupté in Red Muse. The stain that was used on the model in the first photo is called Flush, I mixed that with the more coral pink hue called Tipsy to make it a bit warmer.
After mixing the stain, I took a large, cheapy concealer brush that is actually pretty horrible for concealer but great for this, and applied it to my lids, periodically blending outward and in
I then mixed some highlighter and mixed that with some nude, pearly shadow and applied it to the corners of the eyes. I watched Pat line models' waterline with white eyeliner to open their eyes a bit and apply a peachy nude gold shadow to their corners, so this is just my version of that minus how uncomfortable I get lining my eye's waterline.
The rest of the stain I applied to the apples of my cheeks and blended upward.
Et Voilá!
