Backstage at Rachel Roy with Bobbi Brown and Ted Gibson

Kimberly came to my rescue and covered backstage at Rachel Roy, where Bobbi Brown and Ted Gibson were on hand and working their magic. The hair deep was combed into deep side parts and twisted at the nape of the neck. Conservative but not too fussy, this is a look that can easily be recreated at home with a few bobby pins and a comb. But wouldn't it be nice if we could all have Ted Gibson on hand to do it for us?

The look Bobbi created was inspired by her wedding ring - and both Rachel's and her favorite shade of gold (and coincidentally, mine as well): rose gold. The makeup was described as an effortless "rosy nude" with a hint of "feminine metal" - a nice play on otherwise natural looking makeup - and can be worn on any skin tone.
