H&M top // RVCA jeans // Chloe Susan boots // Fendi bag // vintage scarf // Natalia Brilli Nolex // Casio watch
I haven't found anything all that exciting at H&M in the last year in comparison to a few years back. It feels like the material has gotten cheaper and the design more American mainstream. I used to love finding simple cotton or linen (sometimes even leather) pieces in a weird shape or cut. You know, a Swedish design aesthetic you don't find in F21. But I feel like I've been bombarded with one too many "jeggings" and sparkly party "frocks" and "strong shoulder" everything. Plus now that I live on the other side of town, my boredom shopping has become far less frequent. Last week I did make a trip though, with the intention of buying some baby clothes for my bestie, but ended up getting totally sidetracked by this woven/fringe top. I'm guessing it's a dress, but a childhood of my mother forcing me to wear shorts under dresses, prohibits me from wearing any without something underneath, even to this very day. I got a size L (as I normally do) so I could wear it long and loose. The woven front bib is pretty substantial and doesn't feel at all like the cheaply made H&M stuff as of late. Score!

You know what's also great? Coming home after a three hour drive from a long work week, to find two belated birthday packages from your bffs...
