LIFE'S A BEACH

My friend has a Garfield pop-up shop open in Santa Monica, so I went to pick up one of the collaboration decks this past weekend. Also, something to note - any outfit photos or generally any photos that depict me actually living life are taken over the weekend, since during the week I am almost always like this and usually look like this.

Before I lived here, I never understood why LA people (don't want to use Los Angelenos) make such a fuss over venturing from East to West or vice versa. I thought it was a snobby thing, but it turns out it's a sanity thing. Now I don't even make plans on the other side of town unless it involves a full free day and my mental state at full capacity. Patience is not my forte. Seeing as how we were already in Santa Monica and since I will always choose a corndog over any meal (unless we are talking Spam or Patty Melts), I dragged Pixelman with me to the beach to get Hot-Dog-on-a-Stick. I hadn't been to the beach on an overcast day in a loooong time (as in I can't remember when, or if I ever have). It was kind of nice. Except for all the pigeons. With their pigeon mites. With their pigeon germs. And their pigeon poo.

It really took all of my self control not to Photoshop this picture. I'm sorry Blub, I had to...
See, the key to safe corndog-eating photos are to be biting down, or chewing. Otherwise, you leave yourself vulnerable to Photoshop attacks.

Me: Look at that white pigeon....wow, it doesn't look as gross.
Pixelman: Are you serious.......?
Me: D'oh...

Not-broken-in shoes mixed with sand, turned my feet into beef carpaccio.
