OH WHAT A KNIGHT

came across these nail art supplies at Mitsuwa japanese market and got excited. i'm always on the hunt but most of the shit that's readily available is the cheesy Lisa Frank-y, Sally Hansen-y pen shit that is really poor quality. i'm super meticulous and particular about really crisp clean lines so i was stoked to find these. purchased the Liquitex soft type acrylic paints in black and red and the really really tiny paintbrush. the white paint and the drying drops i already had. i highly recommend the quick dry drops. they're a godsend for impatient people like me.


base is Sally Hansen Insta Dry in Beige Blast. next i free hand painted the Rolling Stones logo and then added a Chanel gold metal charm i already had.

then headed to Medieval Times for my friend's 30th birthday party. born and raised in southern california but this was my first time going. i knew it would be cheesy, but was hoping it would be somewhat epic. the end result was it being extremely cheesily epic.



the yellow knight sucked. the red knight was kinda rad. he was getting heckled by our party but had a sense of humor about it and even returned some shit talking. it was kind of racy.
